Invoices for Salesforce automatically creates invoices for your sales straight out of the sales records. For each sale the application creates:
Invoices for Salesforce can also automatically deliver the invoices to your customer via email when the invoice is created, or it can aggregate the invoice PDFs in a single document so you can print them all in one go, ready to be posted or faxed to your customers. This called in Invoices for Salesforce invoice processing.
You can create and process invoices in two modes: single and bulk billing modes. In single mode you create and process a single invoice straight out of the opportunity page. In bulk mode you create and process many invoices at once with the Invoice Manager.
In both billing modes you can choose whether to create or process the invoice for a sale by selecting one of the following billing actions for that sale:

The invoice and invoice PDF are created. A copy of the invoice PDF is stored in a document in the folder under the Documents tab defined in the billing scenario selected. In bulk mode, the invoice PDF for the all opportunities set to Print in a processing batch are concatenated in that document |
Once the invoice is created, the invoice Status is automatically set to "Created Only" for invoices processed with the Create Only billing action, and "Processed" for those processed with the Email and Print billing actions.
